Obituary of Leitha J. Twitty

Lugoff -  Leitha Jenkins Twitty, 99, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Wilma Sears Jenkins.

Mrs. Twitty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved her family very much.  She never forgot the trip to Clearwater Beach, Florida, with her two daughters.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Phyllis DeBruhl (Benny) and Linda Hornsby (the late Michael);4 grandchildren, Nikki Green (Brian), Ben DeBruhl (Whitney), Adam Hornsby, and Morgan Preger (Mitchell); 4 great-grandchildren, Jenna Green, Madi Green, Mia Preger, and Eleanor DeBruhl.  Mrs. Twitty was predeceased by her husband John Clayton Twitty, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

A private funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn.
