Obituary of John Charles Guthrie

ELGIN- John Charles Guthrie, 79, passed away on March 3, 2023. Born in Queen, N.Y., he as a son of the late Alfred Guthrie Sr. and Ella Kocinsky Guthrie. Mr. Guthrie was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S. Army.  

    Surviving are his sons, Trent Guthrie (Cassie), Brett Guthrie; companion, Nichola Lembergs; grandchildren, Abner Guthrie, Boone Guthrie; a sister, Barbara Guthrie; and a sister-in-law, Helen Guthrie. He was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Guthrie, Jr.

     Funeral services for Mr. Guthrie will be private.
