Obituary of Taylor Ray Rentas

LUGOFF-Taylor Ray Rentas, 32, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. Born in Orangeburg, SC, he was the son of Ray and Rachel Ann Hunter Rentas. Taylor enjoyed video games, watching movies, and going to parks. He also fought very hard in recovery with the help of Recovery Solutions and Sammie’s Mission in Greenville, SC.

Left to cherish Taylor’s memories are his parents, Ray and Rachel Ann Hunter Rentas; sister, Alana Dusenberry (Joseph); brother, A1C Hunter Rentas USAF (Liz Mary Amill DeJesus); nephew, J.J. Dusenberry; maternal aunts and uncles, Avery and Cindy Hunter, Morris and Janice Hunter, and Don Hunter; and paternal aunts and uncles, Maureen and Glenn Blanchard.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Recovery Solutions and Sammie’s Mission.
