Obituary of Isabella "Izzy" Angelina Kinney

Isabella Angelina “Izzy” Kinney, 14, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Kile Anderson and Jennifer McClain Kinney. Izzy was fiercely opinionated and full of life. Though her physical condition kept her from communicating verbally, her facial expressions never failed to get her point across. Izzy adored Mickey Mouse, Frozen, and Dum-Dum lollipops. She had an infectious laugh, especially when Jack Sparrow was on tv. Izzy also had a fondness for stuffed animals, especially her puppy dog, who was broken, washed, and replaced more times than you could count. She also loved taking trips to the beach, feeling the sand on her skin and hearing the waves crash around her. Izzy enjoyed the sights and sounds of Halloween decorations and Christmas lights. She was a special kid who refused to let her circumstances outshine her personality.

In addition to her loving parents, Izzy has formally requested that the following members of the “Kinney Invasion” carry on in her absence: her siblings, Alyssa, A1C Michael, Lorelei, Evalyn, and William; her paternal grandparents, Dr. Kile and Mrs. Natalie Kinney; maternal grandmother, Ann McCain; and her aunts and uncles, AT1 Kimberly Ruelas (GySgt Alex Ruelas), Caitlin McClain, Ashley Kinney, and Michael Kinney (Krissy).
