Obituary of Will Shealy

LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of William Chase “Will” Shealy, 16, will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The Rev. Larry Fraser will officiate.  The family will receive friends Friday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. 

    Will passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of Russell Clark Shealy Jr. and Courtney Lynne Garner Shealy.  He was a Junior at Lugoff-Elgin High School.  He was a friendly guy who always wore a smile.  He enjoyed video gaming, Star Wars but most of all his car.

    Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Rusty and Courtney Shealy of Lugoff; brother, Hunter Allen Shealy (US Navy); paternal grandparents, Russell Clark Shealy Sr. (Lisa T.) and Cyndy Cotton; maternal grandparents, William Thomas Garner Jr. and Deborah “Debbie” Garner; and maternal great-grandparents, William Thomas Garner Sr. and Jacqueline McDonald.
