Obituary of William V. Horsman, Jr.

Sumter County- A memorial service for William Vernon Horsman, Jr., 72, will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dalzell Masonic Lodge 431 at P.O. Box 52501, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. 29152 or to MIRCI, 1408 Gregg Street, Columbia, S.C.  29201.

Mr. Horsman passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late William Vernon Horsman, Sr. and Mildred Flippo Horsman. Mr. Horsman was a member of Dalzell Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed collecting antiques and loved his pet dogs, Bud and Rufus.

Surviving are his son, William “Bunky” Horsman, III; companion, Patricia Hartis of the home; and siblings, Earl Horsman, Tina Stevens, and Mary Dullion. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Horsman; and siblings, Kenny Horsman and Wayne Horsman.
