I’m extremely sorry to hear about Matt’s passing. He was a joy to play with during our golf tournaments. He always talked about his love for his faith, family, and coaching. He was a great man that will be truly missed. Rest easy my friend and our prayers will continue to go out for the family.

We are both heartbroken over the loss of our wonderful nephew. Matt called me “Unk” and Linda “Pretty Lady” and we adored him. He was not only a loving cousin to Kyle, our son, but his “big brother”, golf partner, and life coach all wrapped into one happy-go-lucky guy. We mourn your loss Matt but are gratified to know that you rest in the arms of a loving Father. We love you. David and Linda Roach

To the family of our dear sweet Matthew we send our deepest condolence. Matthew was one of my children. We lived out back of his grandmother and mother in Woodfield Park. He spent many days at our house. He would climb the fence and spend the day playing with my son Jeremy. The two of them would always find something to get into during the day.
His grandmother or mother would call him to come home, he would tell them not until he finish eating, because Mrs. Stephens was a good cook. No matter where I see Matthew he was always smiling and would come and hug me. To the family we send our love and prayers.

I will cherish and greatly miss Matt’s infectious enthusiasm every class I had the pleasure of coaching him at CrossFit Creed. I am grateful for the time I had with him and hope Julie and the kids find peace in the strength of their love for such a wonderful husband, father and friend.

Matt was a family man, a hardworking man, and a friend to everyone that he met. Most importantly, Matt was a Godly man whose life had been transformed by the power and grace of God. He will be missed by his wonderful family and by all that he ever came into contact with. Julie and the whole family will be in our prayers.

Condolences to the family and friends of Matt. I met him back in 2016 after I moved to Columbia. He was a genuine person and always treated me like a friend. I will never forget the memories of playing basketball with him at Cobblestone and also at church. I definitely hated to hear about this but the worse part was actually finding out it was you. Rest up my friend!!!

We are heartbroken with your family. We knew Matt through Our son , Ben Price, and his family. Our grandson, Wil , played on Matt’s team. The memories of those days are very precious, and will remind us often to continue praying prayers of gratitude for Matt’s Witness of Love and Humility . Jesus Loves You All More than any of us could( and Matt must have been greatly loved). The Christmas parade photos of Matt and the team are treasures. God Bless You All.

We only knew Matt thru our Grandson’s baseball games but with my husband being sick and one day needing an inhaler VERY BADLY this man whom I had never been introduced ran up to us and handed us HIS Inhaler to my Sweet Husband so He Could Breathe. I will never forget that day. Matt touched my heart with His Selfless LOVE. Then just a few days before CHRISTmas at the Ladies get together I got to talk one on one with His precious wife Julie, Ma his Mother In Love and daughter Ainsley . This Family SHOWED the LOVE of GOD thru their WALK!
We, the Pete Branham Family is PRAYING for each of You!!!!!!

I recall meeting Matt at a business networking group and he came to me and said, Ms Gena, you don't remember me. He and our oldest son Aaron knew each other back in middle and high school. I had the opportunity to work with him for several years and without any hesitation would refer all HVAC work. He was a BIG AND TALL man with a BIG and KIND Soul and through and through a Christian Man.
