Obituary of Mary Branham

ELGIN – Funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Cooper Branham, 84, will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1hr prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church.

    Mrs. Branham, wife of the late Rudolph “Bud” Branham, Sr.,  passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. Born in Ridgeway, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Cooper, Sr. and Lucy Clayton Cooper. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with church family and her family.

    Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Dinkins (Lester), Rudolph “Rudy” Branham, Jr. (Linda), Linda Reynolds (Steve), Susan Wright (John Heyward), Deborah Branham, and Sandra Slusser (Richard); 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille “Laura” Brown and Judy Pereira (Eddie). She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Briana Rabon; great-granddaughter, Samantha Dinkins; siblings, James Cooper, Billy Cooper, Dorothy Whisenant, Betty Branham, Carl Edward Cooper, Jr.
