Obituary of Jackie Dondale King

BETHUNE- A funeral service for Jackie Dondale King, 47, will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Matthew Baptist Church, Bethune. Elder John Trueluck will officiate. A public viewing will be held Friday from 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mr. King passed away on November 27, 2022. Born in Camden, he was the son of Patricia King Sweetenbrug and the late Ulysses Sweetenburg, Jr. Mr. King enjoyed playing video games, eating food, and fishing.

    Surviving are his mother, Patricia Sweetenburg of the home; daughter, Jasmine Hodge of Hartsville; sisters, Jessica Sweetenburg Williams (Juwayne), Sandra King Cook (Robert) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
