Obituary of Keith A. Crosby

ELGIN- A funeral service for Keith Alan Crosby, 39, will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center, 128 Blackriver Road, Camden, S.C. 29020.

    Keith passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Richard Allen “Ricky” Crosby and Rhonda Ann Fuller Crosby. Keith served in the U.S. Army with the 128th infantry division. He served during Hurricane Katrina in Biloxi, MS and also served during Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait. He enjoyed caring for animals and sports and was an avid Gamecock and Braves fan.

    Surviving are his mother, Rhonda A. Crosby of Blythewood; father, Ricky Crosby (Patti) of Elgin; maternal grandmother, Patricia A. Fuller; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, James G. Fuller; paternal grandmother, Elisabeth B. Crosby; and paternal grandfather, Kenneth D. Lambert.
