Obituary of Mannie Cameron

Virginia Beach, VA – Funeral service for Richard Manning “Mannie” Cameron, Jr., 56, will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Christian Outreach, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden.  Rev. Derek Gillis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

    Mannie passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022.  Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of Richard Manning Cameron and Janice Crolley Cameron. He was a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and Clemson football.

    Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Maggie Cameron of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Mannie Boy Cameron, III, of Virginia Beach, VA; stepdaughter, Simone Stoll of Virginia Beach, VA; and sister, Cindy Cameron of Camden.
