Obituary of Virginia Litton Heflin

Virginia Litton Heflin, 96, of Elgin, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Andrew Walter and Carey Etheredge Litton, and the wife of the late William Dewey Heflin, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Heflin Busnardo (Marc) of Elgin, SC, Janice Heflin Southerland of Stafford, VA, and Lori Andrea Buckler of Colonial Beach, VA; as well as seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brothers, William Howard Litton and Andrew Walter Litton, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
