Obituary of Marion Thomas Branham

Marion Thomas “Tom” Branham, 72, of Converse, TX, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Born in Ridgeway, SC, he was the son of the late Herbert M. and Mary C. Humphries Branham, and the husband of Kathy Lynn Branham. Tom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He worked as an OTR truck driver for over 35 years and was also a skilled woodworker who enjoyed building furniture in his spare time. Tom had a passion for restoring old cars. He loved to bake, to make others laugh, and to watch the sunrise each morning from his porch. 

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children, Annette Scileppi (Edward), Joshua Black, Ashley Black, and Raven Branham; step-children, Nathan Keyes (Jessica) and Sarah Marler (Jake); grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, and Stephen Scileppi, Jakob, Liam, Tori, and Asher Keyes, and Preston Belyea; as well as his siblings, Rebecca Thompson and Gary Branham (Jeanne).

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his siblings, Virginia Branham, Mamie Branham Curtis, Gwendolyn Branham Seawell, Amelia Branham Frost, Lester Branham, and Elmer Virgil Branham.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- Ridgeway Ward. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery.
