Obituary of Tanya LeeAnn Foster

On September 13, 2022 Tanya passed away with her family beside her. Tanya passed away from complications after a brave and courageous battle with breast cancer.

     Tanya was born on March 15, 1976 in Jasper, AL. She was the beloved daughter of Leah Smith, Terry Smith, James Letcher Jr., and the late Gerald Price.

     Tanya was known to be a devoted and compassionate friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed putting a smile on everyone's face whose life she touched. Tanya's antics were legendary and those who knew her have their own stories to tell, and they will certainly not be forgotten. She simply wanted to brighten people's lives in her days, and that she surely did. Peace and caring were her qualities, and kindness felt like it was her middle name.

     Tanya was known to be a loving mother to her son, surviving Airman First Class Howard Foster IV; her brothers Randy Letcher, Gary (Cheryl) Letcher, James Letcher III; her sister Kacie Smith; niece Sophia Smith; her corgi "Willow" and a host of other relatives and friends.

     Tanya's family asks that you join them for a Celebration of Life on September 22, 2022 at 1 pm. Celebration will be held at Powers Funeral Home at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.

     Flowers are appreciated and donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
