Obituary of Johnny Goff, Jr.

CASSATT- A celebration of life service for Linwood John “Johnny” Goff, Jr., 63, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. James Corbett will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

    Mr. Goff passed away on August 17, 2022. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Linwood John Goff, Sr. and Shelby Jean Rabon Goff Bailey. Mr. Goff was a skilled carpenter and worked in construction. He was an avid Carolina Gamecocks football and NASCAR fan. Above all, Johnny loved spending time with his family.

    Surviving is his daughter, Elyse Goff; siblings, Ronda Peake of Lugoff, Wanda Burkett (Gerald) of Cassatt, Cliff Goff (Sarena) of Cassatt, and Becky Outlaw (Eddie) of Kershaw; as well as four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Goff was preceded in death by his step-father, Jack Bailey; brother-in-law, Dewitt Peake; and his sister, Angela Goff.
