CAMDEN - Funeral service for Donna Edith T. Bailey, 44, will be held Friday at Malvern Hill Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Steve Lee and Rev. Freddie Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of one’s choice. Mrs. Bailey died, Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late John Lloyd Thompson and Evelyn Amerson Thompson. She was a graduate of Camden High School Class of 1981 and was a co-owner of J&K Vinyl Siding. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Charles Edward “Eddie” Bailey; children, Johnna Marie Bailey of the home, Katelyn Ann Bailey of the home, Rhonda B. (Scottie) Skipper of Augusta, Ga.; brothers, John L. (Renee J.) Thompson II of Camden, Foy Wayne (Janice O.) Thompson of Camden, and Tommydon Thompson of Camden; sister, Virginia T. “Jenny” (Johnny L.) Chavis of Camden; grandchildren, Alexie Evans and Ethan Bailey Skipper; 11 nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Nana Lois Thompson.
