Obituary of Elvin Albert Privette

Lugoff - A funeral service for Elvin Albert Privette , 67, will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eric McAvoy will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Privette passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022.  Born in Lee County, SC on June 11, 1955, he was a son of the late Johnnie Cecil Privette and Eula Lee Boykin Privette. Albert enjoyed watching TV, listening to music, watching NASCAR and football (especially the Patriots and the Cowboys; and the Crimson Tide and Gamecocks) and spending time with family.

Albert was the ninth of ten children. Surviving are his brothers, Cecil Privette (Shirley), John Privette; special nephews, Dave Matuse (Cindy), James Matuse, John Bowers (Sonja); and numerous other nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by siblings, Beatrice Privette, Sara Privette, C.M. Privette, Elvin Privette, Nellie Matuse, Rhodie Bowers (Perry), and Andrews Privette.
