Obituary of Michael Steven Leopard

Michael Steven Leopard, 50, of Elgin, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Lacey Mitchell Leopard and Sarah Edell Boan. Steven was self-employed and worked construction. He enjoyed music, fishing, riding his Harley, going to Darlington Speedway, playing his guitar, swimming, and cookouts with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his ex-wife, Sandy Mowery; his children, Jamie Alexander Martin and Hannah Cheyenne Leopard; his brother, Robert Mitchell Leopard; grandson, Corboral Alexander Martin; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow the service in Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, 29170.
