Obituary of William Joey Dodds

A service to honor the life of William Joey Dodds, 61,  will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery in Lugoff S.C. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Dodds passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 02, 2022. Born in Jackson, Miss., he was the son of the late Betty Jo Catoe Childers and Charles Catoe. Bobo was the oldest but the Baby of the house and thought of himself as the boss.  He loved Scooby Doo.

          Surviving are his sisters, Sheryl Ann Patton, Christi M. Catoe, and Pamela C. Catoe (Chad); special niece and nephew who cared for him, Taylor and Dylan Johnson; and many numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Betty J. Catoe and Charles C. Catoe and brother Gerald Lynn Dodds.
