Obituary of Zelma M. Boulware

LUGOFF – A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Zelma Marlene Timmons Boulware, 79, will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Mrs. Boulware, wife of the late James A. Boulware, Sr., passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022.  Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late George Nathaniel Timmons and Ollie Mae Baker Vault.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking and shopping.

    Surviving are her children, Peggy Spires, James A. “Wimpy” Boulware and Gail Ford; sisters, Sandra Taylor, Diane Richardson and Nita Rosenstein; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by sons, George Taylor and Richard Taylor; brothers, Duffy “Buddy” Timmons and Richard Timmons; and sister, Edna Lemus.
