Obituary of Mary L. Sanders

ELGIN – A service to celebrate the life of Mary Louise Sanders, 77, will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery in Camden, S.C.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

    Ms. Sanders passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 30, 2022.  Born in Roswell, N.M., she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Cleta Riffle Spencer. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church for 25 years.  She enjoyed painting ceramics and caring for family.

    Surviving are her children, Sandra Vanthof (Paul) of Lugoff, Deborah Williams (Auddy McNeely) of Elgin, Daniel Sanders of Lugoff and Dennis Sanders of Elgin; grandchildren, Paul Vanthof (Leah), Tyler Vanthof, Jessi Lawrence (Bryan), Michael Pruitt (Tessa), Dennis Sanders (Kayla), Carlos Ramirez and Nicole Morris (Taiyon); and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Vanthof, Kayden Gaunt, Chandler Padgett (Melissa), Kendall Gaunt, Dakota Gaunt, Adelina Morris, Eli Sanders, and Lily Shealy.
