Obituary of Nathan Wayne Garrison

CASSATT – Mr. Nathan Wayne Garrison passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2022.  Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was the son of the late Jimmy Garrison and Betsy Galloway Garrison.

Nathan was a hard-working man who enjoyed riding go-carts, flying toy helicopters, and his doggies.

Surviving is his companion, Paula Sowell Grooms Garrison; children, Nathan Garrison and Katrina Huggins (Wally); stepson, Kirk Grooms; grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Caleb Huggins, and Katie Hall; sisters, "Peggy" Doris Hinson (Homer), Nancy Burriss (Garey), Bonnie Wingard, Joyce Cook, and Bobbie Jean Wilson (Sonny); brothers, Richard Barrett (Myrtle) and Don Garrison (Debbie); and number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jean Garrison; sister, Ruth Baker and brothers, David Garrison and Jack Garrison.
