Obituary of Sara Ann Hunter

CASSATT – A memorial service for Sara Ann Hunter, 65, will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Wateree Baptist Church.

    Mrs. Hunter passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022.  Born in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Peake and Lois Spradley Peake. She was a member of Wateree Baptist Church, where she was baptized. Sara enjoyed collecting jewelry, spending time outdoors in her yard, watching movies, and listening to old Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin songs. She loved horses, dogs, and her home in the country.

   Surviving is her husband, Ronald Hunter; sons, Ernie Davis (Wendee) and Detrick Brown; grandchildren, Noah, Zachary, and Tiffany; siblings, Clara Rose (Lawrence), Michael Gene Peake (Vicky), Virgie Brazell (Lonnie), and Gwen Peake LeGrande (Frank). She was predeceased by siblings, Alfred Lee Peake, Jackie Thomas Peake, and Richard Roy Peake.
