Obituary of AJ Arnold, Jr.

WINNSBORO - A memorial service for Aaron Michael Arnold, Jr., “AJ”, 2, will be held Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Blaney Baptist Church. The Rev. Jacob Helsley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4-5 p.m. at Blaney Baptist Church.

AJ passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Born at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, he was the son of Aaron Michael Arnold and Janna Kierston Arnold. AJ attended the Early Learning Center at Richard Winn Academy.

He enjoyed putting smiles on other’s faces and wore his personality on his sleeve. AJ was a vibrant little boy who loved to play outside, ride his bike, and play with his friends at daycare. He was Mommy’s little helper in the kitchen and Dad’s little helper in the yard. He was loved by everyone who knew him and touched many hearts.

Surviving are his parents, Aaron and Janna Arnold of Winnsboro; paternal grandparents, Ron and Dana Arnold of Blythewood, Kim and Sim Smitherman of Louisburg, MO; maternal grandparents, Ted and Teresa Beeson of Blythewood; paternal great-grandparents, Linda and Heyward Mattox, Ronnie and Sharra Arnold, Libby Covington, Sharon Freeman; maternal great-grandparents, Linda Beeson, Gabriel DiGesualdo; and aunts and uncles, Brianna Bramblett and Nikhil Prasad, Jacob Wright, Trey Beeson, Noah Arnold and Elaina Arnold. He was predeceased by paternal great-grandfather, Glenn Freeman; maternal great-grandmother, Barbara DiGesualdo; and maternal great-grandfather, Thomas Beeson.
