Obituary of Jeanette Rhodes Smith

Jeanette Rhodes Smith, 64, of Lugoff, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Born in Dover, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Naomi Stanley Rhodes, and the wife of the late Robert James Smith. Jeanette loved animals, especially her “grand-doggies” Buddy, Squirt, Jake, and Lela. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains. She was always generous and loved giving gifts and celebrating birthdays and holidays.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Pamela Anastasi; grandchildren, Joseph Johnson, Brendon Johnson (Chloe), Kyle Smith, Tyler Smith, and Hunter Smith; and her sister, Priscilla Rhodes Campbell.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Rhodes Jordan.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
