Obituary of Kimberly Matthews Haufler

LUGOFF - Kimberly Matthews Haufler of Lugoff, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 surrounded by her beloved family. She was the daughter of Ruthel Eugene and Carolyn Davenport Matthews and the wife of Anthony “Tony” Clark Haufler. Mrs. Haufler was a partner of Palmetto Promotions and The South Carolina Shop for most of her life. She enjoyed traveling in her RV, gardening, her goats, dogs (Max Roo, Bucky and Brewster), and above all else her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her beloved husband of 22 years, Anthony “Tony” Haufler; mother, Carolyn D. Matthews; daughter, Ashley Hasty (Josh); step-daughters, Amanda Haufler and Leanna Burgees (Alston); brother, Russell Matthews (Lisa); grandchildren, Ava, Raelynn, Cruz, River and Bryer; and nephews, Chase Matthews and Tyler Matthews. She was predeceased by her father, Ruthel Eugene Matthews.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will take place after the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Camden, South Carolina.
