COLUMBIA – Funeral Services for Delia Gaud, 97, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at International Praise Church of God, Elgin, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. Bishop Doyle Roberts will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Gaud, wife of the late Pastor Perez Estrada, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Digna Mercado and Juan Gaud. Mrs. Gaud was a member of International Praise Church of God. She was an outgoing person who loved talking with others, and helping them out when able. She enjoyed cooking and dancing. Surviving are her grandchildren, Wanda Echevarria (Neric), Mirna Rojas, Melissa Negron, and 5 other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Enrique Gaud; and a sister Juana Gaud. She was predeceased by her husband; a son, Luis Antonio Negron Gaud; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
