Obituary of Hayne Hugh Keziah

Hayne Hugh Keziah, 86, husband of Jean Chewning Keziah, died April 26, 2022 at home surrounded by family.  Born in Union County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Richard Alexander and the late Adeline Martin Keziah.  He was a faithful member of St. Andrew Church of God and a successful business owner of H.H. Keziah Logging and Saw Mill.  Hayne enjoyed working so much he considered it a hobby.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Chewning Keziah, two daughters Beverly Blalock (Alec) and Rhonda Keziah-Smith (Luke) and a sister Lois Atkerson, all of  Camden; granddaughter Brooke Bradshaw (Josh) and great grandchildren Brady Bradshaw and Brayden Bradshaw; step-grandchildren Elizabeth Duncan, and Kelly Crayne and step-great grandchildren Bailey Hall, Joseph Crayne, Hunter Crayne and Alysia Madera.  Hayne was loved by many and will forever be missed.

The family would like to express much appreciation and extend a special thank you to his loving caregivers Michelle Couser, Bertha Blyther, Ivory Melton, and the Agape Care SC Group.  Their support and loving guidance allowed him to stay in his beloved home during his final days and for that, they are forever grateful.

Due to COVID-19 within the family, a Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, May 1st at St. Andrew Church of God Cemetery in Camden, SC.  Viewing will be held prior to the service inside the sanctuary, beginning at 1:30pm.

Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Church of God, 4238 Red Hill Rd., Camden, SC 29020 or Alzheimer’s Association, SC Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.  Powers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
