Obituary of Bertha Magnolia Marshall

CAMDEN- A funeral service for Bertha Magnolia Marshall, 76, will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Camden First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Shelly Hardy will officiate. A public viewing will be held Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. A burial will be held in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y.

    Mrs. Marshall passed away Monday, April 25, 2022. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late John Moses and Bertha Haynesworth Moses. Mrs. Marshall was a member St. Mark Church of God in Christ.

    Surviving are her husband, Frank Marshall, Jr.; daughter, Michelle Hosey of  N. Charleston; step-children, Ebony Marshall, Shannon Marshall; grandchildren, Jessica Hosey, Justine Holder, Chanz Mitchell and Taylor Marshall; siblings,  Booker T. Moses, Cora Williams, Ruth Favor, Ruby Boyd, Maggie Sutton, Rebecca Peay, Nora Gatlin, John Moses, Jr. , Mary Ann Favor, Frank Moses; and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by a son, Frank Marshall, III; and siblings, Cleveland Moses and Ernest Moses.
