Obituary of Sally Marie Alexander

A service to celebrate the life of Sally Marie Alexander, 84, will be held on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

    Mrs. Alexander, wife of the late Richard Alexander, passed away at home on Saturday, April 16, 2022.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Neal Jr. and Louise Duren Neal.  She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board. 

    Surviving are her son, Louis C. Hare, Jr. (Melissa), step-children, Jacqueline Alexander, Glendora Alexander, Marcella Alexander, and Sharlene Alexander; grandchildren, Randolph L. Brooks, Jr., Tavares R. Hare and Louis C. Hare III; great-grandchildren, Alaisha Najae Brooks, Bianca Jasmine Brooks Perez, Charity Hare, Darien Hare, Derrick Hare, Ciara Hare, Dante Hare, Tavares Hare, Jr., Jesse Hare, Desmond Hare, Scarlett Hare and Autumn Hare; and a great-goddaughter, Trevona Thomason.
