Obituary of Tammy Lynn Coker

Tammy Lynn Coker, 51, of Lugoff, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Born in Dentsville, SC, she was the daughter of Vickie L. Wilson Lambert and the late William Henry Coker. Tammy was a loving, genuine, funny, and hard-working mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan and she also loved to travel. Known as “Nana-T” to her grandchildren, Tammy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Lee Painter, Kevin Chad Norris (Scout), and Benjamin William Rowe (Ashley); her companion, Tony Johnston; sisters, Erica Coker Nealy and Marie Coker; grandchildren, Gabriela Painter, Nico Painter, Bennett Rowe, and Landyn Rowe; her nephews, Joseph Nealy, Andy Fain, and James Weaver; nieces, Candace Nealy, Chelsea Fleming, Amy Fain, and Joyce Usher; and her loving aunt, Jenny Weaver (James).

In addition to her father, Tammy was preceded in death by her brother, Marty Coker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
