Ralph Jule Cobb was born to the late Clemson Conslow and Grace Virginia Brannon Cobb on July 14, 1936 in the Sandy Grove Community. He passed away on Saturday, April 2nd.
Ralph spent his life working in the hardware business, working at Robinson Hardware in Camden, then Cobb Hardware which he owned for over 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling to Maggie Valley, NC. He loved birdwatching and searching for the perfect addition to his Case knife collection. He was a devoted member and past deacon of Mizpah Baptist Church. Ralph married the love of his life, Doris Davis Cobb, on December 24, 1955.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Cobb; sons, Roger Cobb (Jackie) of Camden, and Michael Cobb (Deanna) of Lugoff; grandchildren Amanda Cobb Dunlap (Billy), Julianna Cobb, and Gabriel Cobb; great-grandchildren Scarlett, Colton, and Will; and brothers Roy (Hazel) of Myrtle Beach, Bernie (Katie) of Camden, and Dennis (Linda) of Camden. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Ralph Stanley Cobb, brother Ted Cobb, and sisters Ruth Branham and Catherine Vincent.
A service to celebrate Mr. Cobb’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Mizpah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mizpah Baptist Church.
