Obituary of Dolly Jean Branham

LUGOFF – Graveside service for Dolly Jean Branham, 91, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Todd Horton and the Rev. Larry Frazier will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

     Miss Branham passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, two days short of her 92^nd birthday.  Born in Lugoff, she was the daughter of the late Dewitt Talmadge, Sr. and Boidie Rabon Branham. She retired from Colonial Life and Accident Insurance, where she was a manager.  She was a charter member of Springvale Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on various Committees. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and cooking.

    Surviving are her sister, Carol Branham Krier (John) of Lugoff; sister-in-law, Joan Branham; nieces and nephews, Lana Todd (Bob), Dr. Cheryl Branham, Deryl Snowden (Dr. Doug); great-niece and great-nephew, Dr. Patricia Snowden and Gray Snowden (Elaine); and a great-great nephew, Grady Snowden.
