Obituary of William "Bill" Nobles

CAMDEN – Funeral service for William “Bill” Nobles, 85, will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  Viewing will be held on Thursday, from 9 am until service time.

    Mr. Nobles passed away at MUSC Downtown on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Susie Bell Noble.  He served in the United States Army and was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.  He enjoyed doing lawn work.

    Surviving are his wife, Virginia Clyburn Nobles; daughter, Valerie Jones (Bobby); son, Phillip Sumpter; step-children, Valerie Russell (Renzo), Cynthia Clyburn and Tony Clyburn; grandchildren, Cori Noble (Nichole) and Divad Durham; great-grandchildren, Malakhi Noble, Noah Noble and Leila Durham; 3 brothers-in-law; and 1 sister-in-law.  He was predeceased by 3 siblings.
