Obituary of Margie Lee Glock

ELGIN- A funeral service for Margie Lee Glock, 69, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Tennant will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Glock passed away March 12, 2022. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Louvenia Coleman Brazell. Mrs. Glock enjoyed shopping, watching lifetime movies, the Carolina Gamecocks and the Dallas Cowboys. She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

    Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Marcel Glock; son, Marcel Glock, Jr. (Mandy) of Columbia; daughter, Stephanie Glock (Rodney Robinson) of Elgin; siblings, Ed Brazell (Jennifer), Gene Brazell, Paul Brazell, Lonnie Brazell (Virgie); and 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, James Brazell; siblings, Ruby Meetze, Lindsey Brazell, Melvin Brazell, Jessie Brazell Jr., Leroy Brazell and Rufus Brazell.
