LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Dorothy Lenell Lee, 59, will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Miss Lee passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Porter Lamar Lee Sr. and the late Nellie Elizabeth Higgins Lee. She was an artist and loved spending time with family. Surviving are her father, Porter L. Lee Sr. of Lugoff; brother, Porter Lamar Lee Jr. of Lugoff; sister, Deborah Smart (Ron) of Lugoff; niece, Tanja Pierce (Michael); nephew, James Boswell; and great-nephews, Owen, Ryan, and David Pierce.
