Obituary of Mark Chelluk

ELGIN – A service to celebrate the life of Walter "Mark" Martin Chelluk, Jr., 63, will be held July 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Church in the Garden, Camden, S.C.

    Mr. Chelluk passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022.  Born in Sumter, S.C. on July 25, 1958, he was the son of the late Walter M. Chelluk, Sr. and Myrtle Robinson Chelluk. He was a man of God and a teacher who loved to sing, preach, cook, talk politics, carpentry work, and Clemson. His greatest joys were spending time with his family and sharing all that God had done for him. Mark fought a long battle with cancer but with the grace and dignity that only comes from his deep faith.

    Surviving is his wife, Emelie Roberson "Jann" Chelluk; children, Ruthie Glazier (Brian) of Camden, Walter “Chuck” Chelluk, III of Georgetown, and Stephanie Chelluk (Chris) of Elgin; grandchildren, Jayden, Olivia, Samuel, and Lillie; sister, Melody Ann Banister (Wayne); brother, Wesley “Butch” Francis Chelluk (Linda); nieces and nephews, who loved him. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Osborne.
