Obituary of Martha M. Wyrick

CAMDEN- A celebration of life service for Martha Marshall Wyrick, 66, will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Ridley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Outreach Church, 1113 Highway 1 North, Cassatt, S.C. 29032.

    Mrs. Wyrick passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late George F. Marshall and Jean Twitty McGuirt. Mrs. Wyrick was a clerk for the City of Camden and a member of Freedom Outreach Church, where she faithfully served and was there every time the doors were open. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends.

    Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Charles Wyrick; children, Rickey Hinson (Amy) of Camden, Susan Jackson (Timmy) of Camden; step-children, Vickie Arledge of Camden, Chardise Honeycutt (Robert) of Salisbury, N.C., Charles Edward Wyrick II of Masa, AZ; a sister, Cecilia Johnson (Wayne); step-siblings, Anne M. Boone (Clark), Jimmy McGuirt (Sarah); grandchildren, Mariah Branham, Cody Hinson; 7 step-grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a step-daughter, Deborah Munn and a step-brother, Charles McGuirt.
