Obituary of Colleen Anne McWilliams

ELGIN- A celebration of life service for Colleen Anne McWilliams, 66, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

    Ms. McWilliams passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. Born in Queens, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late James P. and Hannah O’Connor McWilliams. Ms. McWilliams enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

    Surviving are her son, Joseph “Joey” Viola, Jr. of Reading, PA; daughter, Nicole Miller (Mike) of Elgin; siblings, Daniel “Dan” McWilliams (Kathy) of Zephyrhills, FL, Cynthia Fish (Richard) of Forestdale, MA; and grandchildren, Anthony Viola, Haley Viola, Jackson Miller, and Victoria Viola. She was predeceased by siblings, James McWilliams, Francis McWilliams, Margaret McWilliams and Joan Jermyn.
