CAMDEN, SOUTH CAROLINA- Justice Kirby, 79, of Camden, South Carolina, passed away on February 18, 2014. Born February 14, 1935 in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Roy “Pap” Glenn and Frances Collins Glenn of Rock Hill, SC. She is survived by her sister, Norma B. Thompson (Robert L) of Rock Hill, SC and Samuel S Glenn (Bonnie) of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by her son, Bentz Kirby of Columbia, SC and his wife May and her daughter Katharine Kirby Schofield of Springfield, VA and her husband Gary; grandchildren Steven Rish, Richard Kirby, Lauren F K Lanier, Sarah Kirby and Stewart Schofield and step-grandchildren Brian Weatherwax, Kate Weatherwax, Thomas Weatherwax and Anna Weatherwax. She was pre-deceased by her son, Timothy D Kirby. She also is survived by four great-grandchildren. Justice was a bookmobile librarian in both Greenville and Kershaw Counties. She was a fine pianist and shared a great love for music with her children. She was also an avid reader who passed along her love of literature to her children. She loved the Carolina Gamecocks and NASCAR. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.
