Obituary of Candace C. Lunn

Candace Camille Lunn, 63, of Lugoff, passed away on Friday December 24, 2021. Born in McComb, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late George Henry Tate Sr. and Bertha Morris Tate. She was raised on a family dairy farm in Kentwood, Louisana where she cherished her childhood memories.

She was a devoted wife to her husband of 10 years, Tony V. Lunn. Mrs. Lunn enjoyed kayaking and fishing on Lake Wateree. Mrs. Lunn was a registered Nurse for the State of South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

She is survived by her husband, Tony V. Lunn; son, Forrest Bryan Collette IIII (Bethany); brothers, George Henry Tate Jr. (Mingling), and Charles Ronald Tate (Jackie); sister, Bess Tate Kling; grandchildren, Sophia Rose Collette and Loretta Camellia Collette.

She was predeceased by her parents George Henry Tate Sr. and Bertha Morris Tate.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery, Camden.    The family will receive friends at Powers Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camden First Baptist Church or a charity of one's choice.
