ELGIN – A service to celebrate the life of Bobby Glenn Ballard, Jr., 60, will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Triumphant Church of Christ, 292 Mount Zion Rd, Camden, S.C. The Rev. Marvin Tennant, Jr. will officiate. Mr. Ballard went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Born in Hartsville, S.C., he was the son of the late Bobby Glenn Ballard Sr. and Marlene B. Tennant. He was a devoted Gamecock fan. He had a dog named “Peppy” which was always at his side. He was survived by a brother, Winston Clay Ballard (Janet); and a special friend, Sherry Ray who stayed by his side until he went home.
