Obituary of Jack E. Cunningham
CAMDEN – Funeral service for Jack E. Cunningham, 67, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Malvern Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Craig Thompson and the Rev. Buster Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Malvern Hill Baptist Church or Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Cunningham died Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Agape Hospice House in Columbia. Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of the late James Otis and Isabel Grace Cunningham. He retired from DuPont and owned and operated Quality Appliance. He enjoyed golf, wood working and bird watching.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth “Libby” Eddings Cunningham; son, Brian Kelly Cunningham (Gretchen) of Darlington; daughter, Tamela Cunningham Foss (Alan) of Green Bay, Wis.; brothers, James Cunningham, Wayne Cunningham, Ralph Cunningham, Stanley Cunningham, Allen Cunningham, Phil Cunningham and Malcolm Cunningham; sisters, Dorothy Lominac, Betty Parker, Nadine Edwards, Jean Dudley and Patty Culberson; and grandchildren, Eric Hayes, Rachel Reames, Blake Reames, Zachary Cunningham, Jacob Cunningham, Jonah Cunningham and Garrett Cunningham. He was predeceased by a brother, Willard Cunningham.
