Obituary of Gregory D. Green

ELGIN- A celebration of life service for Gregory Delane Green, 59, will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Montgomery will officiate. A public viewing will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

    Mr. Green, husband of the late Cynthia Green, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Born in Camden, he was a son of Henry and Willie Mae Green. Mr. Green enjoyed watching westerns, riding his lawnmower, especially with his grandkids.

    Surviving are his daughters, Laqushia Green (Latroit), Shante Green (Jacob); parents, Henry and Willie Mae Green; siblings, Barbara Montgomery (Rev. Gerald), Celeta Woods, Paul Adam Green, Henry Green, Jr., John Green, Melton Green; and grandchildren, Jaharan Harris, Anyla Harris, Kylie Harris, Chance, Chase, Camden, and Londyn Lee.
