Obituary of Sheila Adera Brisbon

LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Sheila Adera Brisbon, 51, will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Marion Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.

    Ms. Brisbon, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Walter “Jimmy” Russ and Inez Stoney. Ms. Brisbon was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and eating seafood, especially lobster tail and crab legs.

    Surviving are her children, Justin Stoney currently of New Mexico; Zymaya Brisbon of Lugoff; siblings, Dwight Stoney, Vivian Hall and Daphne Starling (Leon); and numerous other relatives and friends.
