Obituary of Charles "Charlie" Harrison

LUGOFF- Funeral services for Charles J. “Charlie” Harrison, 31, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

    Charlie, also known as “Fat Back,” passed away Friday, November 5, 2021. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Jeannie Fran Hastings and the late Charles Anthony Harrison. Charlie enjoyed hunting, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers, and taking care of his 2 hunting dogs, Diamond and Buck Shot.

      Surviving are his mother, Jeannie Fran Hastings of Lugoff; and siblings, Tina Jeffcoat of Blythewood, April Harrison of Lugoff, Crystal Harrison of Lugoff; and Cindy Harrison of Lugoff. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Harrison; and step-father, Gene Hastings, Jr.
