Obituary of Laura Naomi Brazell

       A graveside service for Laura Naomi Brazell, 87, will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at­ Centerville Cemetery. The Rev. John Ptak will officiate. The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to graveside at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Brazell passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021. Born in Centerville, S.C, she was a daughter of the late James and Helen Branham Kelly. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, yard, flowers, and her dogs.

    Surviving are her children, Patsy Marthers and Michael Brazell; grandchildren, Steve Westbrook, Glen Westbrook, Frank Westbrook (Renee), Victoria Westbrook, Douglas Westbrook (Leslie), Brittany Curry, and Denise Marthers; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gloria Branham and Barbara Hill.

    She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Eugene Brazell; children; Charles Marthers and Diane Westbrook; grandchild, Carlene Marthers; sisters, Dorothy Branham, Sylvia Smith, Hilda McDaniel, and Reolla Reynolds; and brother, Rudy Kelly.
