LUGOFF – Funeral service for Regina Joyce Cassady, 73, will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Lugoff Christian Ministries with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Reece Byrd will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice. Mrs. Cassady died Thursday, November 8, 2012. Born in Shubert, Neb., she was the daughter of the late Russell David and Glayda Keithly Armstrong. She retired from B.C. Moores in Camden and was a member of Lugoff Christian Ministries and the Women’s Ministry. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and quilting. Surviving are her daughters, Carla Cassady of Lugoff and Debbie Coker (Ernie) of Lugoff; sister, Zelma Jamison; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
