I did not know Herb, but saw he was a WWII Veteran who was overseas and in the Battle of the Bulge . I'm also a Army Veteran who has been overseas during the Cold War in the early 80s. I want to send my Heart felt Sympathy and Prayers for Herb and his Family . God Bless you and keep you ...I would have like to have shook his hand and talked with him . Thank-you for your Service to Our Country Herb ...A long held Salute to you ...God Bless you and keep you in his Love,Grace,and Compassion ...ARMY ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!!! SGT. He was a very special Uncle and enjoyed going to see him and Aunt Doris. After Aunt Doris passed away my daughter and I would go visit him. He loved to refurbish and make knifes. He loved going to the knife shows. I went with him and Aunt Diris to a knife show in Louisville Kentucky. I was amazed at all the kinds of knifes. He also loved collecting Carnival glass and had a beautiful collection until he sold it a some years ago. He also loved making thing out of the longleaf pines that was around his house. Great memories of him and Aunt Doris ❤
