Obituary of Brenda B. Catoe

Lugoff-Memorial Services for Brenda Bertram Catoe, 56, will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, Bishopville. The Rev. Jerry Gardner and the Rev. Eric McAvoy will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Humane Society or Faith Baptist Church, 35 Phillips Church Road, Bishopville, S.C.

    Mrs. Catoe passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021. Born in Lincoln, NE, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Ernest “Ernie” and Patricia Smithart Bertram. Mrs. Catoe was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed cross stitching and watching Big Brother and Survivor and was an avid Clemson fan.

    Surviving are her husband, James W. Catoe; step-children, Pamela Catoe, Kelli Catoe, Sidney Catoe all of Lugoff; grandchildren, Jace Griffith, Jensen Griffith, Mykel Cook; sister-in-law, Gina Blyther (Heath); and nephews, Braxton Bertram and Samuel Bertram. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Bertram.
